Boys and Girls Clubs to provide meal to club members
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa, in partnership with Child and Adult Care Food Program, will now provide dinner to members of the Baker Boys and Girls Club every night at the club, Monday through Friday. The meal program will assist the 85 kids who attend the Baker Boys and Girls Club daily. This is the second location of clubs operated by the organization to offer a hot meal to members. This program is in addition to the bags of nutritious, self-serve food the organization has provided to kids on the weekends. The goal is to help eliminate food insecurity among members.
