The Iowa Architectural Foundation plans an Oct. 17 fundraiser that will include a preview of its new customizable map of architecturally significant and historic buildings that offer dining. The map is called “Taste of Iowa Architecture.” The fundraiser will take place at Court Avenue Restaurant and Brewing Co. from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature an interactive scavenger hunt around downtown with prizes. Tickets are $35 in advance and are available on Eventbrite. In other news, the foundation received a $3,500 Cultural Enrichment Grant from Bravo Greater Des Moines for fiscal year 2016 that will support the development of a new website.
