Science Center of Iowa to host traveling exhibition on race
The Science Center of Iowa & Blank IMAX Dome Theater (SCI) aims to inspire community dialogue about diversity and inclusion with a new traveling exhibition, “RACE: Are We So Different?, which will open on Oct. 10. “Race can be a difficult topic, but science can help us understand even the most complex issues. We believe this exhibition will spark important conversation regarding race in our community and across the country,” said SCI President and CEO Curt Simmons. The exhibition is a project of the American Anthropological Association in collaboration with the Science Museum of Minnesota, funded by Ford Foundation and the National Science Foundation. SCI will host the exhibition through April 3. Click here for more information.
