Employee & Family Resources announced that it now provides bilingual individual and family counseling, along with in-home support to families, through its Para Ti program. Serving Polk, Dallas and Warren counties, EFR provides the support in Spanish and English. Para Ti was founded to support the growing Latino community in Central Iowa. The program helps people address challenges such as depression and other emotional issues, family or marital problems, stress, legal or financial concerns, grief and loss, or abuse. Para Ti also offers the services of an in-home counselor to assist therapy clients with skills and action plans between therapy sessions. Therapy and counseling services are available by appointment at EFR’s offices in Des Moines and West Des Moines.
