Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines was named a 2015/2016 Consumer Choice Award by National Research Corp. The annual award identifies hospitals across the United States that health care consumers choose as having the highest quality and reputation. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Consumer Choice Award, which Mercy has received 17 times. Mercy was one of five hospitals in the state and the only Greater Des Moines hospital recognized. Winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in NRC’s Market Insights survey, the largest online consumer health care survey in the country.
