Grant will establish Iowa monarch butterfly habitat on 3,311 acres
Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and Pathfinders RC&D have received a $227,400 grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to establish a monarch butterfly habitat on 3,311 acres of privately owned land in Iowa. The state agency and Pathfinders will match the grant. The funds will be used in partnership with four current programs to establish the monarch habitat as part of conservation efforts. Read more
