CVB, Hotel Pattee, Newton Fest win tourism awards
The Iowa Tourism Office and the Travel Federation of Iowa presented 27 awards recognizing excellence in the tourism industry last night in Fairfield. The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau won both for outstanding marketing collaboration and for outstanding niche marketing initiative, metro. Hotel Pattee was recognized for outstanding nice marketing initiative, rural. Newton Fest won for outstanding new metro event. The Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau was recognized in People’s Choice. Read more
