Nominations sought for Awards for Excellence in History
The State Historical Society of Iowa board of trustees is seeking nominations for its Awards for Excellence in History programs, which recognize individuals, organizations and communities that made outstanding contributions to the study and practice of Iowa history during 2015. The awards recognize outstanding publications, local history initiatives and significant, long-term achievements in Iowa history. Nominations are due Feb. 1.
