Remodelers Council announces 2015 awards
The Remodelers Council of Greater Des Moines in December recognized four local professionals for their outstanding contributions to the industry, association and local community. The 2015 Remodeler of the Year Award was presented to Marc Black of Clive-based Silent Rivers Design + Build. Also receiving awards were Ben Richter and John Murphy of Beisser Lumber Co., who shared Associate of the Year honors for orchestrating a series of speakers, presenters and workshops for the Remodelers Council. The inaugural People’s Choice Award was presented to Zak Fleming of Fleming Construction LLC for the remodeling contractor’s renovation of a kitchen and master suite at a Des Moines home.
