Seneca Industrial, the industrial finishing and adhesives division of Des Moines-based Seneca Companies Inc., has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by ICAFe Inc. The new entity will be renamed Seneca Fluid Technologies Inc. and become a division of Waukesha, Wis.-based ICAFe. This is the second major acquisition by ICAFe in the past two years. ICAFe acquired Peoria, Ill.-based Dove Equipment in late 2014. With this acquisition, the combined company becomes one of North America’s largest distributors to the industrial finishing systems and adhesives applications marketplace. Seneca FTI will retain its operations in Des Moines and Baldwyn, Miss. ICAFe will remain in Waukesha.
