Caven runs UpCraft Club, which offers a curated online set of sewing patterns. The company also offers brick-and-mortar stores a slice of the proceeds of sales generated by UpCraft cards in the stores. The store then has a chance to sell materials for the clothing. The finalists will make pitches in March during Women’s History Month observances in Washington, D.C.
