LifeServe Blood Center to be open Sunday for donations
In an effort to boost the dangerously low blood supply, LifeServe Blood Center will offer be open for blood donation between 8 a.m. and noon this Sunday, Feb. 7, at the Des Moines and Urbandale donor centers. “This is unprecedented for LifeServe Blood Center,” said Stacy Sime, its president and CEO. “It sends a message to the community of how important blood donors are and how much they are needed right now.” Appointments can be made online or by calling 800-287-4903. Walk-ins are welcome.
