Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa will receive a $316,707 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for housing development, assistance to housing developed under the Indian Housing Program of the 1937 Housing Act, housing services to eligible families and individuals, housing management services, crime prevention and safety, and model activities that provide creative approaches to solving affordable housing problems in Tama. The funding is available under the Indian Housing Block Grant program, which provides funds annually to eligible Indian tribes or housing entities that are designated by tribes to provide a range of affordable housing services.
