Female leaders face harsher penalties for mistakes, study suggests
Harvard Business Review: Female leaders in male-dominated fields tend to be judged more harshly when they make mistakes, according to research by Victoria Brescoll of the Yale School of Management. “Until we associate women with leadership roles, mistakes will remain much more costly for women,” writes Therese Huston, author of “How Women Decide.”
