Patrons of the Downtown Farmers’ Market may experience travel delays because of the Dam to Dam race on Saturday. Getting to the Downtown Farmers’ Market will not be affected coming from the north. From the south, westbound traffic will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. Market patrons can use the Eighth Street viaduct, which travels over MLK. To access the viaduct from MLK, turn south on Seventh Street and take it to Tuttle. Turn west on Tuttle to Eighth Street. Turn north on Eighth Street to access the viaduct. Another option is to park south of MLK and walk north about three blocks to the market. After 10:30 a.m., the Downtown Farmers’ Market will be accessible as usual. The Court Avenue bridge will be closed to pedestrian traffic from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Pedestrians will have to use the Walnut Street Bridge to get to the Downtown Farmers’ Market.
