IWLC receives grant to help fund EPIC challenge
Iowa Women Lead Change has received a $25,000 grant through the Walmart Foundation to help fund the EPIC Corporate Challenge, according the organization’s website.
The EPIC Corporate Challenge, a statewide public-private partnership to engage Iowa CEOs to increase female leadership within their organizations, was launched in March. Grant funding will be used to create a tool to chart and measure goals set by EPIC member companies, as well as to track female leaders progress within their organizations.
Lead Partners for the EPIC Corporate Challenge include Gov. Terry Branstad, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds, Iowa Women Lead Change, the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the Iowa Department of Workforce Development. Partnering organizations include Drake University and Nexus. Presenting sponsor companies include Delta Dental of Iowa, Hy-Vee, Inc. and Rockwell Collins.
