Although some history buffs had wanted to save the 86-year-old brick building, church officials did not oppose the move, saying it was not the church’s original home and selling the building helps finance the church’s charitable efforts. Hubbell Realty Co. plans a 111-apartment complex at the property at Eighth and Crocker streets.
