Clive approves Walnut Creek plan

84 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentClive has become the first community to approve the Walnut Creek Management Authority’s master plan for the stream. The plan calls for improvements in water quality, recreation, public health and habitat. The authority represents governments in the creek’s watershed including: Polk County, Clive, Dallas Center, Des Moines, Grimes, Johnston, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines, the Polk County Soil Water Conservation District and the Dallas County Soil Water Conservation District. RDG Planning & Design led the 18 months of study, financed by a state grant.
