Ames company named a Best Workplace for Women
Ames-based Workiva has been named one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine.
According to a news release, Workiva came in at No. 55 on the list of companies. It was the only Iowa-based company included on the list.
The recognition is based on employee assessment of communications with management, development and training opportunities, and support for work/life balance, among other factors.
“Workiva is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace,” Matt Rizai, chairman and CEO of Workiva, said in a news release. “Our employees are encouraged to freely share ideas and develop mutual respect. We believe that diverse teams build better solutions with greater success.”
