Preservation Iowa honored OPN Architects for its restoration of the Polk County Courthouse. Designed by Des Moines-based Proudfoot & Bird, the courthouse was built in 1906.

Preservation Iowa honored OPN Architects for its restoration of the Polk County Courthouse. Designed by Des Moines-based Proudfoot & Bird, the courthouse was built in 1906. The Beaux-Arts style courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. OPN’s work is part of a reworking of several buildings for court facilities.
