Three leaders in the architectural field were among those honored Thursday night at the annual Iowa Chapter of the American Institute of Architects awards dinner.

Three leaders in the architectural field were among those honored Thursday night at the annual Iowa Chapter of the American Institute of Architects awards dinner. They are:

Bruce Bassler, retired architecture professor at Iowa State University, who was given the Educator Award.
Michael Broshar of Invision in Waterloo who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his work with the state and national architects’ group since the late 1980s.
Danielle Hermann of OPN Architects in Des Moines who was honored with the Young Architect award because of her commitment to elevating design and practice, service to her profession and the community and to future generations of practitioners.
