Hunt, Woodruff to headline Partnership’s 2017 Annual Dinner

183 wordsAll Latest News, Economic DevelopmentThe Greater Des Moines Partnership announced that its 2017 Annual Dinner will feature the husband-wife duo of Bloomberg View columnist Albert R. Hunt and “PBS NewsHour” anchor Judy Woodruff as the headlining speakers. The Partnership’s 128th Annual Dinner program will be held Jan. 24 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center. Hunt has worked at Bloomberg Television since 2005; he was a panelist on CNN’s weekly public affairs program “The Capital Gang” for more than 17 years and was a member of CNN’s “Novak, Hunt & Shields.” Woodruff, co-anchor and managing editor of “PBS NewsHour with Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff,” has covered politics and other news for more than three decades at CNN, NBC and PBS and was previously a White House correspondent for NBC News. “We are excited to welcome two outstanding journalists to the Partnership’s Annual Dinner,” said Jim Brannen, CEO of FBL Financial Group Inc. and the Partnership’s 2016 board chair.
