The Wells Fargo Foundation is currently accepting grants for human services-related organizations and projects. The deadline is Oct. 15 for grant requests from organizations whose work chiefly benefits at-risk populations and addresses critical needs such as hunger and homelessness, or whose work promotes leadership, empowerment and inclusion or wellness education and services. Through the first three quarters of 2016, the foundation has provided grants totaling $1,774,200 to Central Iowa nonprofits.
