Pella Corp. today announced it has acquired Duratherm Windows Corp., a leading manufacturer of hardwood doors and windows based in Maine. The two privately owned companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. Nearly 70 Duratherm employees have joined Pella with the acquisition. Duratherm will remain under its current leadership and will maintain its brand; over time its products will be integrated into the Pella Crafted Luxury collection. Tim Yaggi, president and CEO of Pella Corp, said “Duratherm rounds out Pella’s collection of elite brands and expands our geographic footprint on both the east and west coasts.” This is the third acquisition for Pella during the past two years, along with Grabill Windows & Doors, acquired in 2015, and Reilly Windows & Doors in July 2016. With Duratherm’s manufacturing facility in Vassalboro, Maine, Pella now has 13 manufacturing locations throughout the United States.
