Brehm Communications Inc., based in San Diego, sold the Daily Democrat and the Bonny Buyer in Fort Madison, the Daily Gate City in Keokuk, and the Hancock County Journal Pilot in Carthage, Ill., to Community Media Group of West Frankfort, Ill., according to Cribb, Greene & Cope, a firm that reports on mergers and acquisitions.
