Applications sought for Jazz in July bands, host sites
Metro Arts Alliance is taking applications for host sites and bands for its 35th year of Jazz in July in 2017. The festival celebrates jazz with free outdoor concerts at different venues throughout the month. Each concert features an accomplished jazz group, children’s activities, and food and drink vendors. To celebrate the 35th anniversary, Metro Arts is encouraging unique collaborations for jazz groups that can perform many different styles of jazz. The application forms are due by Dec. 2 and can be found at Metro Arts’ website or requested by email.
