Corrigan wins AARP Andrus Award
Don Corrigan of Des Moines has won the 2016 AARP Iowa Andrus Award for Community Service, AARP’s most prestigious volunteer award. Corrigan was selected for his leadership in AARP Iowa, Age Friendly Greater Des Moines Initiative, Drake University Ray Society, Grand View University Alumni Council and other organizations. In Corrigan’s honor, $1,000 was donated to his choice of charities — Friends of Des Moines Parks.
