Veridian Credit Union announced a partnership with the creators of the film “Broke, Busted & Disgusted,” a documentary made in Iowa about the true cost of college. With the partnership, the video will be available for free streaming and downloading. The film explores the cause behind increasing student debt loads with interviews of college graduates, current students, and local and national leaders in higher education. “Iowa ranks among the top 10 states in the country for overall student debt totals,” said film author and financial educator Adam Carroll. “Veridian’s partnership further expands the reach of the film and its incredibly important and timely message for students and parents.” While it’s available for rent and purchase online, Veridian’s partnership makes the documentary available for free streaming and download.
