Regents to review ISU aircraft audit, Leath on Monday
The Iowa Board of Regents will review the results of an audit of Iowa State University’s Flight Service during a meeting scheduled Monday in Ankeny. The board announced that it will also conduct an evaluation of ISU President Steven Leath in closed session. The regents in October ordered an audit of each flight provided by the service since Leath became president in 2012. The review was prompted by questions of the use of university-owned aircraft by Leath, who is a licensed pilot. Live streaming of the audio portion of the open sessions of the meeting will be available at the Board of Regents website at www.iowaregents.edu.
