The Greater Des Moines Music Coalition will celebrate its 10th anniversary at the Backstage Ball fundraiser Feb. 27 at the Des Moines Social Club. The evening will include live music from Scott Yoshimura of Canby and the Envy Corps, and Annalibera. Iowa Public Radio’s Bob Dorr will serve as emcee for the ball, which will include drinks, hor d’oeuvres and a silent auction. Tickets are $75 and available at Midwestix.com or at Mars Café.
