The Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute is seeking nominations for the Community Leadership Program Class of 2016. The nine-month Community Leadership Program engages participants in a curriculum that offers a view of Greater Des Moines from divergent vantage points, heightens their awareness of current conditions and issues, enhances individual and group leadership skills, and helps class members see themselves as partners for change. Nominations will be accepted from Community Leadership Program alumni and current class participants until midnight on March 13 at www.gdmli.com/CommunityLeadershipProgram. Interested individuals are invited to learn more about the Community Leadership Program at the Stand Out from the Crowd recruitment event taking place on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Jasper Winery in Des Moines.
