Rockwell Collins Inc. today announced the launch of a new Information Management Systems business. The company’s recently completed $1.4 billion acquisition of ARINC Inc. will serve as the foundation of the new business. The business combines ARINC with Rockwell Collins’ existing Flight Information Systems business and its Ascend products and services, the Cedar Rapids-based aerospace company said in a release. Jeff Standerski, most recently vice president and general manager of Rockwell Collins’ Business and Regional Systems, has been appointed to lead the new division.
