Hoelscher named director of state-federal relations office
Gov. Terry Branstad announced today that Williams native Doug Hoelscher will serve as the director of the Iowa Office of State-Federal Relations in Washington, D.C.
Hoelscher previously served as the White House liaison and executive director of the Homeland Security Advisory Committees for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and spent the last three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he advised federal agencies.
The office is charged with developing a nonpartisan state-federal relations program accessible to all three branches of government.
