The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Diversity Committee selected Community CPA & Associates Inc. as its 2011 Diversity Award – Small Business recipient. The Des Moines-based accounting firm’s specialties include serving both non-resident and resident aliens. Each of the firm’s eight employees is proficient in at least two languages, with overall staff expertise in nine languages. The committee presented the award during the Partnership’s annual dinner on Tuesday. Community CPA serves more than 2,000 clients and “dedicates considerable resources to inclusive initiatives that benefit diverse residents in Central Iowa,” said Rona Berinobis, chairwoman of the Partnership’s Diversity Committee.
