Winter weather wreaks havoc nationwide
Iowa is far from the only place to get hit by Tuesday’s winter storm.
The storm has affected 30 states and a third of the nation’s population, according to Reuters. More than 300,000 customers from Texas to Ohio are expected to be without power, and major airlines canceled more than 5,000 flights.
The business world will likely be affected, as snow in New York City has prevented some financial traders from getting to work, and experts say weather-related stocks, such as airlines, might drop today due to the conditions.
