CCI demands meetings with candidates
More than two dozen members of Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement
(CCI) showed up unannounced at the Des Moines presidential campaign offices of
Rick Perry, Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama on Thursday and demanded a sit-down meeting with each candidate within the next 30 days.
CCI members told personal stories about how environmental regulations and retirement security programs affect their lives and called for more taxes on the wealthiest Americans.
