Sports scholarships to be offered 

The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Des Moines Area Sports Commission have partnered with West Bank and the Central Iowa Sports Awards (CISA) to offer sports scholarships. This year’s top high school male and female athletes will be recipients of the inaugural West Bank Central Iowa Sports High School Male & Female Athlete of the Year scholarships. Recipients must have competed in a varsity-level sport during the 2011 calendar year. Activities up for recognition must have occurred within a 75-mile radius of home plate at Principal Park.
