Four chambers to share one office space
Four Des Moines chambers of commerce will centralize their operations, effective today.
The Des Moines Downtown, West Side, South and East chambers will share office space within RDG Planning & Design, 301 Grand Ave.
The four organizations will maintain separate boards, memberships and executive directors. Des Moines Downtown Chamber President Tony Timm said in a press release that the move will allow the groups to better share resources and ideas.
The four chambers have a combined membership of 567.
