Young Women’s Resource Center to hold annual fund raiser March 31
The Young Women’s Resource Center (YWRC) will host its 13th Annual Sit On It! Fundraiser at 6 p.m. on March 31 at the Community Choice Credit Union Veterans Memorial Convention Center. This event, sponsored by Bankers Trust, features a live and silent auction of pieces of art crafted by Des Moines-area artists. The annual fund raiser helps support a wide range of services the organization provides. Last year, Sit On It! was attended by more than 500 people and raised more than $75,000. Event tickets are $75 per person or $50 for those 35 and under.
