Passenger rail forum set for Wednesday
A forum on passenger rail service from Chicago to Omaha is scheduled for Wednesday at the Des Moines Botanical and Environmental Center, 909 Robert D. Ray Drive. Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) staff will be available at 4 p.m. and will make a formal presentation beginning at 5:30, followed by a question-and-answer session.
