The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Department of Labor launched a new website to support state workforce and unemployment agencies in their efforts to help unemployed residents start their own businesses.

Those who take part in the Self-Employment Assistance programs receive financial assistance as well as entrepreneurial training and resources to help start their own businesses.

The new website provides tools and technical assistance to states considering such programs, as well as additional resources to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses and create new jobs.
