National festival to highlight math and science education
The Iowa Math and Science Education Partnership, a collaboration of the state’s Regents universities, will host a booth at the inaugural USA Science and Engineering Festival to be held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., this weekend. The booth will spotlight Iowa’s leadership in wind energy and offer hands-on activities. Event organizers are expecting more than 100,000 visitors to attend this two-day event.
