The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) announced that its free D-Line shuttle will run on a detoured route all day Friday due to multiple road closures, and operate until 11 p.m. to accommodate those attending the Yankee Doodle Pops concert at the Capitol. On Friday, the shuttle will run on Walnut Street between 15th Street and East Fourth Street, with pickups at designated stops along Walnut. The shuttle will also pick up passengers at the regular D-Line stops between East Fourth and East Sixth streets in the East Village and between 15th and 17th streets in the Western Gateway Park area.
