The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) has announced its five finalists to replace outgoing General Manager Brad Miller.

The finalists interacted with the public during a panel discussion on Wednesday. Two finalists are internal candidates: Elizabeth Presutti, DART’s chief development officer and interim general manager, and Tom Reynolds, DART’s chief operations officer, who previously worked for the Chicago Transit Authority.

The other three candidates are John Jones, director of public transit in Summit County, Colo.; Brad Patterson, transit services division manager for the transit system in Greeley, Colo.; and Ron Garrison, executive director of StarMetro in Tallahassee, Fla.
