After spending 10 years in Capital Square, Alliance Technologies Inc. will relocate its downtown headquarters to 420 Watson Powell Jr. Way in Des Moines.

Tenant improvements are underway in the information technology company’s newly leased 15,000-square-foot space, where it is expected to move in October. Founded in 1994, Alliance has offices in Urbandale and Cedar Rapids.

About 25 employees who work in the company’s Urbandale office will be consolidated to the new downtown location, which Alliance has agreed to lease for 10 years.
