Lifespace Communities is in the process of acquiring Fairview Village in Downers Grove Ill., and plans to remodel the senior living community. On Aug. 1, Fairview will become part of Lifespace’s network of 11 other retirement communities in seven states, the Des Moines-based nonprofit organization said in a release. “Following a detailed analysis, we determined that it just made sense within our strategic long-range plans of slow and steady growth to purchase Fairview Village,” said Lifespace President and CEO Scott Harrison. “Fairview Village has a similar mission and commitment to the continuing care lifestyle, so this is a good fit for our organization.”
