Wells Fargo’s matching gift program tops $2 million in Iowa
Wells Fargo & Co. announced yesterday that its educational matching gift program supported Iowa schools and educational foundations with more than $2 million in employee and company donations during 2011. Through the program, the Wells Fargo Foundation matches employee contributions dollar-for-dollar (up to $5,000 per employee) when the money is donated to a qualifying school, school district or educational foundation. The more than $2 million includes both employee contributions and the company match.
