Iowa Business Council announces leaders
Tom Aller, president of Interstate Power & Light Co., has been elected chairman of the Iowa Business Council, which is made up of the top executives of the state’s 21 largest companies and the Iowa Bankers Association and the presidents of the three state universities. Stan Askren, chairman, president and CEO of HNI Corp., was elected vice chairman and John Sorensen, president and CEO of the Iowa Bankers Association, was re-elected as treasurer.
