Composites One LLC, a distributor of composite materials, plans to construct a 40,000-square-foot warehouse near the 3500 block of Southeast Gateway Drive in Interstate Gateway Business Park in Grimes. On Feb. 24, the Grimes City Council approved a site plan for the pre-cast industrial building, into which Composite One is expected to relocate to this fall. The company is currently located at 5708 Enterprise Drive. The developer also plans to construct a separate concrete storage building that would contain hazardous materials, and has reserved additional land to the west that may be used for future expansion.
