Silent Rivers employees earn CAPS designations
Two employees of Clive-based design-build firm Silent Rivers Inc. have earned Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designations from the National Association of Home Builders. CAPS certification, which helps businesses such as Silent Rivers understand how to implement aesthetically pleasing and barrier-free living techniques into aging homeowners’ living environments, is also intended to give consumers a way to identify professionals trained to undertake those types of remodels. Through the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines, Marc Black and Tyson Leyendecker recently completed the necessary coursework to achieve CAPS designations.
